Terms of Service

These terms are between you and [Registered company name] (operating Denszo) ("we"), which runs Denszo. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them, to the Privacy Policy, the Prohibited & Restricted Items policy and the Listing Expiry Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. What Denszo is, and is not

Denszo is an online marketplace where people list items and services and find them near them. We are an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Sellers, not us, own, make and sell what is listed. We are not a party to any deal between users. We do not hold, collect or guarantee payment between buyer and seller, we do not inspect or deliver items, and we do not warrant that a listing is accurate, lawful or safe. Buyers and sellers agree the price, payment and handover themselves, in person.

2. Who can use it

• You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract in India. Under-18s may not hold an account.
• Give true details. One account per person; accounts may not be sold, transferred or shared.
• You sign in with email, Google or a one-time code. Keep your sign-in details secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once if it is used without you.
• Confirming a mobile number (one SMS code) is needed for some actions, such as posting. We never text it again once confirmed.

3. Listings and your content

• You must own, or have the right to sell, what you list, and the right to use the photos and text you upload.
• Listings must be accurate: the real item, the real price, the real place, the condition and any known defect or accident history. No bait pricing.
• Nothing on the Prohibited & Restricted Items list may be listed. Property, jobs and vehicles carry extra disclosures.
• Do not put phone numbers, links or off-site contact in titles, descriptions or reviews, and do not use the site to move a deal off the platform to avoid its rules.
• You keep ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive, free, worldwide licence to host, show, resize, copy and promote it on and for Denszo for as long as it is on the site. You promise it does not infringe anyone's rights.
• Ads run for a set time, are confirmed "still available" from time to time and expire as described in the Listing Expiry Policy. Free posting limits apply per category.

4. Rules of conduct

You will not:

• cheat, impersonate anyone, post fake reviews, or manipulate ranking, reports or ratings;
• harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or send spam;
• scrape the site, probe or attack it, avoid rate limits or security, or upload files that are not genuine images;
• use the site for anything unlawful, or to pay or receive money for illegal goods.

5. Verification is stated, never a guarantee

Where a profile or listing shows "Identity verified", "Mobile number confirmed" or "Ownership document reviewed", that states only what was checked and when. A Verified tick means a person's name matched a government ID (and business documents for businesses) on the day it was checked. It is never a promise that a deal is safe, that an item matches its description, or that a person will follow through. Paying for a badge or for priority review buys speed or display, never a pass. Always inspect an item in person before paying and never send an advance to someone you have not met.

6. Reviews

Only the two people in a chat whose offer was accepted can review each other. Reviews are published when both have written one, or after 14 days. Reviews must be honest, first-hand and free of abuse, personal details, links and promotion. We may hold, hide or remove reviews that break these terms. A removed review is kept for our records.

7. Paid services

• Posting, browsing, chat and offers are free. We sell optional extras: listing promotions (Urgent, Boost, Featured, Spotlight), buyer and seller plans, add-ons, the Verified badge, priority review and buyer-lead sends. Prices are shown in rupees before you pay and include GST where applicable. A GST invoice is issued.
• Payments are taken by Razorpay. We do not store your card or UPI details.
• Plans can be cancelled from Plans → Cancel plan. The plan ends at once and the unused whole days are refunded to the original payment method, shown before you confirm, with a GST credit note. Packs and plans included in a bigger plan cannot be cancelled on their own.
• Listing promotions run their short term and are not cancellable. A promotion we cannot deliver (for example, no Spotlight spot is free when a late payment arrives) is started when a spot frees up.
• Priority review is refunded in full if we miss the promised time. Buyer-lead sends are refunded in full if no buyers remain at payment.
• A payment that fails or is charged twice is refunded to the original method. Contact us if you do not see it.
• A promotion improves visibility. It does not guarantee views, contacts or a sale.

8. Our right to act

We may refuse, hold, hide or take down any listing, message or review, and suspend or end any account, that we reasonably believe breaks these terms or the law, or on a lawful order. Where we remove a listing we tell the seller why. The seller can ask for a review once from My listings → Removed. Complaints about our decisions follow the Complaints process. We keep records of removed content and moderation as the law requires and to prevent fraud. If we end a paid plan because you broke these terms, we may keep fees for the period already used.

9. Safety

Meet in a public place, bring a friend if you can, inspect before you pay, and never pay in full in advance. We never ask for your OTP, password or UPI PIN. Anyone who does is not us.

10. Our responsibility

We provide the site "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for what users list or say, for deals between users, for losses from a deal, or for downtime, and our total liability to you for anything connected to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

11. Links and partners

Offers marked "Ad" (loans, insurance, warranties and similar) come from partners. Pressing Check sends your name and mobile number to that one partner so they can contact you; their terms and privacy policy then apply. We may earn a fee.

12. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you in the app or by email before it applies; using the site after that means you accept it. You can stop using Denszo at any time and close your account yourself (Profile → the ⋯ menu → Close my account). Closing it cancels any paid plan and refunds the unused days as in section 7, takes your ads down and cannot be undone. Promotions already running on your ads end with the ads, and packs of credits are not refunded. If you join again you start a new account, with no ratings, badge or history, and must complete every verification again. See the Privacy Policy for what we remove and what we must keep. Sections that by their nature should survive ending (content licence, liability, disputes) do.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [City] have exclusive jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have as a consumer to approach your own consumer commission. Please first raise your complaint with us (below); most are settled there.
